Missile Baits Baby D-Stroyer

Mon Jul 20, 2015 1:13 am by Quin

Missile Baits introduced the Baby D Stroyer at I-Cast this month. Looks good!
What do you think?
http://www.thefishingwire.com/story/351344

"The Baby D Stroyer is a smaller version of the 7-inch D Stroyer. It comes in at a little under 5 inches and could be a dynamite option when you need a small presentation with a lot of movement. Mark Daniels Jr. has made the regular D Stroyer a staple …

Deer Lake Bass discussion ???

Mon Oct 13, 2014 2:01 am by Quin

Found this on another forum discussing the fishing in Deer lake. Some people don't like bass, and others really, really don't like them. Surprised
The part I found humorous was the part about the influence bass anglers have with the politicians, here in B.C..  Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes
How did they find out ??? I suspect the "Illuminati" in cahoots with the "Knights Templar", who were …

Cabela's Nanaimo Quick review

Wed Nov 12, 2014 11:47 pm by Quin

Was over on the Island a couple weeks ago, a brief report on the new Cabela's in Nanaimo.

Just a quick review of the new Cabela's in Nanaimo.
It's easy to find, and has lot's of parking.
I spent less than an hour in total in store (1/2 hr heading up island and 1/2 hr heading home) and for a full review you should probably spend more like 2-3 hours.
I really just looked at the fishing dept., They …

Wholesale Sports Fall Sale

Sat Oct 04, 2014 3:15 am by Quin

Wholesale Sports is having a Fall sale.
Check out the website, but also visit the stores because there seems to be some "differences" between the two.

The Langley store had posters up in store with 30% off all lures, rods, and reels with a few exceptions listed.
The website has fewer lures, rods, and reels listed on sale but some of the prices are more than 30% off, a lot more.
So if …

Duck Lake permit

Fri Jun 13, 2014 11:30 pm by Quin

Haven't fished Duck in a few years now, but here's something new (at least to me).
You need a permit to fish Duck lake, it's in the Creston Wildlife Management Area. You need a permit to fish in the Management Area. (separate one to hunt). They also have a boat storage permit for Duck Lake, if you want to leave your boat stored on shore.

There was a bit of a mess …

Bass Pro Shop Tacoma Update!

Mon Mar 31, 2014 8:25 pm by Quin

Here's an update for the new Bass Pro Shop opening in Tacoma. Looks like a late September, early October opening.
The job fair has yet to be announced, but is expected to be in the summer. Great, right before Xmas, an excellent time to shop for presents from "Santa" to yourself !!  Laughing
