hatzic lake june 12 or 13

hey guys we are planning a forum/club fun fish next weekend at hatzic who would all be up for it and let us know who would be a boater or non boater

ok so as of right now its on the sunday the 13th

My wife, daughter and I will be teaching fly tying at our both, at the Alouette Lake Fishing Derby on the 13th.

im not sure if mikey and ray will be going on sunday. i talked to mike today and they were fishing, im sure later on in the week we will know more... as for now sturgeon fishing thursday...

if there out fishing today im sure they will be in for sunday i was thinking if you can come crash here for saturday night im sure i can drive you we are playing poker saturday night f you want to joing in lol

shane i see you have done some homework, that is a larger lake than mill, lots of fishy water to cover. i can see now how there can be huge fish swimming these waters... whats the largest fish outta this lake?

ive got a 6 out of there this year ive also heard af a seven and an 8 there are some huge bass in there its a hard lake to fish thou

gotta explain on how its a hard lake to fish.

It is not hard. While Hatzic looks big, most of it is too shallow. The fishable water is the north west sector and not much bigger in area than Mill Lake. I have landed many crappies and bass in that lake. My largest was 7 lb on a minnow pattern.

Its not any more difficult to fish than any other bass lake in this region.It is however a betch to access if you launch from skook rd. as the launch is not exactly smooth and you have to motor quite a long ways before reaching desirable fishing locations.If you are running a electric motor only you might want to take an extra battery?If your boat can be carried you would save alot of battery power if you launch at the park and walk down the grassy hill.I am not sure how heavily fished this lake is but i know there are some big ol'e bass in there! The 1 bass i caught out of there was nice.Andy and i had 3 fish at 16.6 total weight one day last april.good to luck to everyone who is heading there for the fun fish!!!

water is much higher then last time we fished it chad you can now fish right after the bridge lol come with us on sunday buddy

My motor needs a brush assembly and my battery is old.If someone has an electric motor and a good battery[or 2] and needs a boating partner and a ride give me a shout.I might be able to make it out there? As of now i am in the rowing division.What time are you guys meeting up out there? and will there be points given[not that i care about points or anything]?

no points just a good time by all what you do to your motor if you need it fixed i can do it for you just get the parts
