Area 51 this afternoon May 4

Went out to Area 51 today for about a hour and 3/4. Fished the southern lake from shore ( it's the in the south east corner, near the Golden Eagle golf course off Ladner road. Got one little guy, and had one wake behind my spinnerbait. Lots of small fish schooling around ( I mean small, extra small, no idea what they were, but they got spooked by the tiny spinnerbait I was using, tiny little wakes shooting of in all directions).

I really went out to test out 2 new rods and 2 reels, all were good, except for a Shimano Citica, which had a brake malfunction, one of the brakes came off the shaft, and was lost when the side plate was opened to check the brake settings. It came with spares so maybe it's not unusual .
