Osoyoos for May long weekend

Who is all going to Osoyoos for the may long weekend? its been a tradition for both bass clubs in BC to go there this time of year. I just want to see how many of you are making it out there this year. I have already made my reservations so I will for sure be there this year!

R there places i can pitch a tent and camp there without reservations?

This will be my 1st trip there, so maybe someone else will know

you might be able to get away with campin on the outskirts of town but other then that i dont think there are many places with out a reservation

jsut pitch a sleeping bag up under the bridge lol

i will find somewhere to camp i aint too worried i aint into hotels much and i havent made any reservation plans yet. but im resourcefull i will find something.

It comes down to the sheer cost though. I know how you mainlanders feel when we islanders ask you to come over here and fish...

I have to spend my fishing dollars wisely to ensure the most days on the water this year!

I'm in Victoria, gutz. If you are heading to Port Alberni you will probably be going across to Nanaimo and then up island to Port. If by chance you go through Victoria by all means let me know when you're coming!

Me and Justin are at the holiday inn. That way we have a place to keep our boats moored and wont have to launch and take out each day

Hey Bucket, take an extension cord and your charger with you! There is a power outlet right behind the hotel's gas pump and you can use it to charge your batteries at night.

Thanks Steve! I will remember that. I could also just bring it in the room and charge it on the outer deck

I charge my batteries with hopes and dreams, lol. I cant even imagine how dorky my boat would look with a sail LOL

I will take that as a compliment Justin. A very weird one, lol . Im ready to hit Osoyoos hard in a few weeks!

Three weeks left to be at Osoyoos! that is three weeks from now, I'll be sleeing beside Osoyoos lake!
