ok guys so the may 8th tennant lake fun fish is in a few weeks so please let me know who will be fishing and who is going to be a boater and non boater thanks guys lets see a good turn out

No boat but if anyone has a spot open on theirs I will be there.

if i can find someone who has a good battery or 2 and a digital scale,they could partner with me as a non-boater.

I have a brand new Marine battery and a brand new Rapala digital scale Bought the battery for my trolling motor last year for my pontoon boat. Only used it twice in the water.

This will be an end of day weigh-in, so it will be required that you have a livewell of some sorts to keep your fish alive in. Ice chests and coolers or such works great if you do not have one built into your boat. Does not need to be powered but there will be dead fish penalties as well but Andy and myself need to work out those details before hand. No stringers are allowed due to the damage they can inflict on a fish due to the stringer going through the gill and gill plate area.

right on chaos,we can definetaly meet up for future tourneys.the only prob about tennant tourney is that alot of people cant cross the border currently to fish it.i totally forgot about that when i posted. also i see now that we need a livewell. you are welcome to fish with us out of my boat anytime and you can partner with me in any of the upcoming lower mainland tourneys. if you are still available then? this will be my first year fishing tourneys and i dont have a tourney partner,. thanks for the info,i will send a pm if needed and you can pm me if you have any questions.ttyl

My understanding is that this is a tournament.I am assuming the starting time to be 7:00 am[same as katsie], and that the rules will be given before start ?

Rules,

1) Every boat must have a livewell of some sort. Coolers work great if you dont have a livewell. This is an end of day weigh-in. All fish must be brought to the weigh-in to count toward your totals.You are responsible for keeping your fish alive. Change the water frequently if you do not have an aerator. There will be dead fish penalties of 1/2 per dead fish.

2) The start time is going to be roughly 8:30-9am or whenever we get each competitor's boat through the channel onto the main lake. They do not unlock the gate till 8am and they are usually late in doing so.

3) There are 2 walkway bridges that your boat must get underneath to be able to access the main lake. If your boat sits out of the water more than 1 foot, you may have clearance issues. We will not be able to get boats on this lake that do not make it under the bridges.

4) The tournament will end at 4pm. We will have the weigh-in at the location I show everyone when we launch.

5) Any descepencies or arguements must be addressed at time of weigh-in. I will discuss it all over with Andy to resolve any issues.

6) All fish will be released after weigh-in. NO EXCEPTIONS

7) All other club function rules are also in effect

Also, to fish this event, you must have a valid Washington State fishing license. I will be checking for them before we launch. There is a permanent washington fish and game person on site at Tennant lake at all times and I usually get checked out there. I would hate for our club to get a rep that we dont have licenses. Be legal or dont show up.

I look forward to seeing everone out there at 8am when thery open the gate. Should be fun times! remember sunscreen, its going to be a scorcher

Bucket had several fish, with his biggest over 5 lbs. Chaos had 2 fish a 2.5 and a 1.5 [aprox]. The rest of us caught nothing,but we had alot of fun talking crap to one another.cant wait to get back out on the water with those guys! also,good luck to everyone thats fishing today

Tournament Results.....

1st Place Shane 12 pounds 2oz
2nd place Chaosonfire,Bassoholic 4lbs

T-3rd, Ryan, Kevin no fish

Large fish went to Shane with 5lbs 0oz

At first I thought I was going to get my but kicked. Chaos came right out and got a keeper 5 minutes after we started! Conditions were tough with no wind and bluebird skies. Fish were very spooky. I was lucky to get what I did. Overall I had a 5 fish bag of keepers. I culled 2 smaller fish and caught 6 that didnt quite make the 12 inch minimum. Overall I caught 13 fish but had to work my ass off for them. If we would have had a cloudy day with rain intermittent , it would have been hawg city! For some reason the toads come to play when its cloudy and dissapear when its nice out. Had a great time with everyone there and cant wait to fish another event with everyone!
