first order of buisness

it was brought to the attention of the club by jeff that the residence of hatzic lake want the goverment to pay to ahve it dredge and thought that it would be good to write a letter to the newspaper signed by the wcba to say we are against funding to ahve a private lake dredged by the goverment when we cant even get on the lake to fish

motion passed


angler of the year / sportsman of the year

there will be to awards this year a angler of the year for the club memeber who places and earns the most points in tournament

1st place 5 points
2nd plave 4 points
3rd place 3 points
4th place 2 points
4th place 1 point


sportsman of the year will be a combined points from total points from tournaments and meeting attandance which are 2 points


tournaments

hwy 11 ponds april 23rd this are the ponds on the side of the hwy between abby and mission
katzie slough may 1st this could be an awesome spawn tourny if we keep getting the nice weather
reed lake june 19 this is a tentative tourny because its in the states we need to see who can cross the border and go from there
fish trap creek july 17 3pm-10pm this will be a bank tourny should be a fun night bite also
mill lake august 21st this will be a night bite tourny

I think we need to start the points setting higher. At the current rating, someone who places 6th gets the same as someone who places 10th... and so forth.

My idea....
1st place 10 points (2 points higher than 2nd, winning an event should mean more in points)
2nd place 8points
3rd place 7points
4th place 6 points and so forth...

1 extra point for big fish of event.

why didnt you bring this up at the meeting lol if no one else objects to this we will change it to this format

That could be a very good point. Im glad I am done with Physics class now!
