BASS fishing in lower mainland
Hey, I'm pretty new to this forum and bass fishing. I have heard about several places in lower mainland such as Albert Dyck, Fish Trap, and Mills lake. Not that I have tried any of those places yet, but I have heard there's also a place in Pitt Meadows, across from Pitt Lake I believe, I think it's called Pitt Marsh or something like that. Is this true? Is there any bass up there? Do I nedd a boat to get to the area? Thanks.

Re: BASS fishing in lower mainland
you can fish the area by walking around its much better to fish from a boat thou the easiest way to find it is to go to grant narrows provincal park and fish the slough across from the boat launch
Re: BASS fishing in lower mainland
we need to have a club fish out there soon. Would be fun to get all the new members of the forum out to meet everyone

I went and found where chadsey lake is on the weeke nd kinda dissapointi g that the top gate is closed and you have to hike about 1.5k or so to the lake when they could openthegate and i could basically drive righr there wish i had a quad. I do plan on tryin some casts up there soon though wouldnt mind getting. A few other people up there with me.

It would be great if you plan a fishing event for that location. I'll be in for sure...

Its a nice lake, just very limited access. Bring an inflatable to gain better access

Re: BASS fishing in lower mainland
If a lake or stream is on private land its a private water way the only way to get into lakes or streams is from a public enterance and walk up the stream or out/in flow or boat in without touching land here in BC. Then its legal to be in there if you hope or jump fences or just fail to listen its breaking the law pure and simple and that is not needed at all to go fishing it just makes it worse when people do. Forget about the gates! I love the idea of having fun fishing once in a while to learn more about bass fishing. I have a tackle box full of stuff, but never even got a chance to try any of them. I'm crazy! Just love to buy stuff that looks cool, but can I even use any of them??? Have I even tried to catch a fish??? lol... I need help!!!
