Gone Fishing Nanaimo

Spent a few days on the Island last week looking for coho (No Water!!!).
Stopped in at the Gone Fishing store in Nanaimo, it's a very nice store that carries a nice selection of bass tackle at pretty decent prices. It's located on Island Hwy south of Long Lake, in a strip mall on the east side of the Hwy.(2980 N. Island Hwy). They carry a pretty good selection of Rapala's, including the new "Rippin' Rap". They also have a good selection of Berkley soft plastics, including "Havoc".

They also had a sign for a bass fishing seminar. So it looks like they are supporting bass fishing !
If you're in the area, stop in, and have a look. It's a really fine Hunting and Fishing store.

Also stopped in at Wholesale Sports, off Mostar Rd, they had some spinnerbaits on sale for half price !
That store puts the Langley store to shame in terms of bass tackle. Then they are just across the street from Long lake, and it's smallmouth !!
