Pitt Marsh water conditons today

Took a drive out to the Pitt Marsh today to check out the water conditions.
The water was high but not "flooding". There was lots of current at the culverts between the marshes. Didn't have a thermometer with me so didn't get a temp.

The gate was closed on Koener Rd, off Rennie Rd. So to access the south east portion of the marsh, you have turn off Rennie at Ladner heading east to Middleton, then north past the golf course to the marsh. Even with the sun it was cold when the wind picked up.

So for Sat. I'd recommend warm clothing, a thermos of hot coffee, a thermometer, and your PFDs and go and have fun.
