club event rules
hey guys so im going to start a thread for the club event rules
as of right now i ahve
must have a scale
no livewells
no live bait
no snagged fish
all fish must be released
i will be making a paper that we ahve used in the past to record your fish on right now untill we get everything figured out for the year we will be using jsut a paper system meaning you ahve right on there the size and lenght and girth of the fish we may end up using a camera to prove the fish later on in the year but for right now i think we can trust everyone one

Re: club event rules
I think digital cameras should be mandatory. It keeps the playing field level. we all want everyone else to see the fish we caught as well. Its only fair to make sure there are pictures

Re: club event rules
in thge past all we ahve done is used a peice of paper to write down our weights but if you want to use the cameras thats fine
Re: club event rules
We just need a pic of the fish next to the measuring device showing legnth, and 1 while on the scale. Co-angler takes photo of fish being held on scale. Level playing field

rember guys its a fun club tourny not like there are millions of dollars involved why would anyone want to cheat for that we will go with the cameras but rember we need to all trust one and other
Re: club event rules
sounds good to me me i mean we are all in the same club and should all be able to be honest with catch results but the camera scale and tape measure maske it morwe structured which also is good

Re: club event rules
hey guess i forgot to let everyone know that there is a 48 hour no fish time on the lake before the tourny it used to be a week but we thought it would be good to make it 48 hours so those of you that are planning on fishing please respect that or you will be dqed thanks for your understanding guys
Re: club event rules
Also make sure you bring a cloth tape measure. that way you get a correct girth measurement

Re: club event rules
i really think we should wait untill the next tourny to do the measureing so that this way at the next meeting we can showthe newbies how to do it fast and proper i really dont like the fish being out of the water this long
Re: club event rules
ok, whatever works. we just need to make sure that the entire fish is in the photo allong with the weight showing on the scale. we can go over that before we launch on sunday

Re: club event rules
I thought points are deducted if you are NOT stoned when you show up!!!!jus kiddin! Show up however you want, just dont admit to anything. As long as it doesnt affect your ability to catch fish! This tournament is going to be a lot of fun.I am looking forward to meeting everyone that i havent met yet,and maybe even catching a bass or two? By the way it might be a good idea to throw some sunscreen in with your tackle?Good luck to everyone participating in the event!!!
