bass fishing in hayward lake

does any 1 know or have fished hayward lake ,just above silvermere lake? just wondering if there is bass in there at all.thanxs

All I've heard is rumours. Not the the best kind either, 3rd or 4th hand, --" I met a guy whose friend knew someone who saw a fish in there that might of been a bass ".

It's got some shallow areas across from the "boat launch/park, but it's a very cold deep lake, otherwise. I hope there's bass because it would be a great mid-summer lake.

Ive fished hayward lakes for about 14 years and ive pulled out rainbows cuttys carp and suckers but not once heard about a bass being caught or i my self have caught one so dont get caught up on catch bass in hayward but its great fishing in diffrent season for certain fish

I think people mistakenly think Hayward lake is Silvermere or vise versa. I really think that Hayward may be too cold for a bass population to survive. I've heard of dogs getting hypothermia from swimming off the Hayward dog park in September, so that's pretty cold.
